Hi,
In a networked environment (no MVS/VM; no security exits) is there a way to control database access using accounts (account
strings)? We want to control access to a database to be accessible only through a tool - like Business Objects. Problem is, if a user
has access to that database, and has queryman or bteq access, there is no apparent way to prevent them from getting at the database
once logged on through those access methods - and this is what we have to prevent. A generic user account set up at the tool level
that all users would go through is not an option.
Thanks,
Mike
