Subj:   Re: How to adjust time on a Teradata server?

From:   Patrick A. Belle

Teradata clock time is the time associated with the node on which your control amp is running. In the past, this time was managed by Network Time Protocol (maybe still is) and is synchronized (usually) to the AWS and PDN (and perhaps other nodes depending on the size of the system). Adjusting the time is a matter of using the Unix date statement on whichever your NTP control node is.
