I have read Teradata SQL - Unleash the Power. I thought it was excellent, although not inexpensive. I would say it is for intermediate/advanced users. It covers many advanced features and functions, and is a good reference for the functions that aren't used from day-to-day with explanations and examples. It covers R4 and I think it even touches 4.1.
