Because a 3rd normal form design will have the flexibility needed for the future and will adequately and accurately reflect the
ACTUAL data that the customer cares about. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with a design that works for the questions that you know, but
doesn't for the questions that you don't yet, the ones that usually have the most payoff!
