I wasn't actually exporting the results from BTEQ, but testing shows the same truncated results.

Comparison of 'EXPLAIN' output to 'DUMP EXPLAIN' output will provide one indication that truncation is occurring. Text from the final 'EXPLAIN' steps should be evident near the end of the 'DUMP EXPLAIN' output.

A more clear indication is the absence of . . .

ET;
.label finish

. . . at the end of the 'dumped' transaction.

WORK AROUND:
Running BTEQ 05.04.01.02 from a node seems to work while running BTEQ 05.04.01.00 from an NT workstation seems to fail.
