I'm trying to make a SELECT statement with a subquery:

select a, (select b from tb where tb.a = ta.a) as c from ta;

The parser returns a syntax error on this.

Is it really so that Teradata does not allow subqueries in this way?

Do you have any suggestions on how to implement the above query in some other way?
