Thanks for concurring! So, of course, if the ACCESS tool that people use to get to the warehouse needs to see certain views, then
by ANY standard security definition, they need to see those views to do their job. And the selection of access tool should be based
on the user and IT requirements, which include security needs. "To do their jobs" is the operative phrase. So by the auditor's
definition the only views in DBC that need securing are DBC.USER, etc. Not usually a big deal to access tools. Somewhere I used to
have some good references on what data security actually meant. Somebody want to step up to the plate on that one. Ok, I'm going
back in my cave now.
