Just out of curiousity-
Has anyone tried using CSF and the shell command option to send out the alerts (filtered via shell/perl) to your paging service
(Tivoli/Remedy/OpCenter,mail@pagerco.com)? This does work quite nicely and without the usual dialing from CCL, then, CCL can notify
the GSC (and whoever else), get off the line and let the techs in, and allow you to get pages via your network and operations
systems.
That's what I like, anyway,
