We've got CCL as outbound only too using TCPIP. I would highly recommend you take this route. If you use a modem line it is really bad since it ties up the phone line. Imagine a sceneario where you have a restart loop (database keeps crashing) and the NCR support person is trying to dial in and CCL constantly sending out messages.
