In response to some inquiries about a Java version of my Perl driver, I'm pleased to announce I've made good progress.

I'm looking for some alpha testers that can spend a little time with it within a couple of weeks, esp. with Solaris/HP-UX/AIX (or other non-Intel/Windows) platforms.

FYI: a Type IV JDBC driver is a pure Java implementation, and requires no "bridges", "gateways", or external client libraries.

If you're interested in alpha testing, or just interested in eventually using the driver after alpha/beta testing, drop me a line.
