Subj:   Re: Secondary Indexes

From:   Julie Sorrell

Could anyone tell me if there is a limit to the number of secondary indexes (sp!) one should have on a table.

I'm not sure how many it is good practice to have, but the actual limit is 64 (from the Teradata Database - Implementation for Performance book by Brian Marshall). So you seem to be staying well within the limits, but I don't know about impact on query times or any other matters - hopefully someone else will be able to help you there.

Regards,

Julie
