Kind of scary, almost sounds like MSI is using the Oracle Transparent gateway to Teradata; but have no clue as to that. Anyway,
that same problem can show up using the Oracle gateway, if it is in fact being used. Otherwise, assume MSi is using the ODBC driver
to Teradata. Should be some options you can set through the ODBC administrator control panel. BTW if it would be the Oracle gateway
issue, good luck.. Although Oracle has stated they are certifying a new version v8.1.7 of the gateway for 3/1/01.
