We too are in the process of looking at several tools, MicroStrategy and Actuate are among them. We eliminated Actuate from our
list for several reasons. First off, let me say that there was nothing "wrong" with the tool that we could determine. Our reasons
for removing them from consideration dealt with our specific requirements that may be different from yours.
One of our many lessons learned from doing this is a process which is not easy! The thing that has kept us focused is a detailed
list of our requirements that we decided on BEFORE we did any serious searching for tools.
As this discussion seems to be heading away from the charter of this distribution list(administrator, please correct me if I am
wrong!), may I suggest taking this offline. You are welcome to email me directly.
