We are using (very successfully) the OLE-DB module for extracting SQL Server and Oracle for a customer. What you need to assess
is, is there an OLE-DB 'Provider' interface for AS/400 in which you can take advantage of this interface. I'm not familiar with the
AS/400 environment, but know that if there is an OLE-DB provider module - you should really try this!
