Claudio,
For your needs I don't think you should use an ABSOLUTE policy. Just have the ratios of weights such that batch has preference at
night and interactive work during the day. When they are in competition then resources will be allocated every few seconds according
to the ratio but if there is no competition then the only type of work running gets the whole machine.
