Hello, I have an NCR WM4700 with two nodes using an EMC 3430 RAID 1. I want to know if is possible to connect an additional EMC Rack disk to my WM4700 (I only have one cabinet with two nodes), and what should I consider to attach this additional EMC to my cabinet?

If somebody experimented that exersice in past, please tell me the experience and how it affect the performance.

How difficult is the process to attach the new EMC within Teradata? Is necessary to redistribute all the information that I have in my actual EMC between both EMCs? or you just attach the new EMC and it is increasing the available space used by the DBC?

Additional I'm interested to know if the additional EMC could be configurated in RAID 5, it means the same box working with an EMC RAID 1 and the other EMC using RAID 5 (or RAID S as you prefer).

It's important for me know if it's possible, or not, and it's a good idea?.
