I am trying to find the advantages of using WinCli over ODBC.

I am aware of the following differences:

->ODBC is open and WinCli is native.

->When used via a Reporting tool, WinCli will only let you use Teradata - specific functions while ODBC will provide you access to functions supported by ODBC.

I would appreciate any comments on this.
