Since we seem to be having a lot of archive questions, I thought I would send one also.

I am working on an 8-node 5150 system. We have 4 CPUs per node, with 2 VPROCs per CPU. We use ASF2 to backup our data, and we have 8 drives attached - one to each node. We do cluster archives for most of our databases.

What would be the optimal number of sessions per cluster archive job? We usually run 8 jobs - archiving 4 clusters in each one.
