Who can join?
The TeradataForum (TDATA-L) is a private discussion group, but membership is open to anyone who would like to share
their interest in the Teradata Database product.
The promotion and/or marketing of products or services is not welcomed on this list - see the
Rules of Conduct and
Guidelines for Posting
for further details. When the promotion and/or marketing of products or services occurs on the TeradataForum, it is a billable
activity. If in doubt, send a note to the
List Administrator before posting to the Forum.

Who is Anomy.Anom?
Anomy Anom is our anomynous poster (really the List Administrator), who will take your question or comment, remove any
identifying information and then post it to the Forum.
This feature is intended to get members to speak-up. A posting which is inflammatory, off-topic or otherwise
inappropriate for the TeradataForum will be edited or censored. Also keep in mind that Anomy.Anom will forward your note as time
permits.

How to make an Announcement
Announcements of general interest can be made to the TeradataForum, but they must be accepted by the List
Administrators prior to distribution. The Announcements might include the schedule for a conference, a conference call, a call for
beta testers, the distribution of freeware, shareware or demonstration software, etc. For an Announcement to be made, it must be
available to all members of the TeradataForum without cost.
If you would like to make an Announcement, first review the Guidelines
for Posting and the Rules of Conduct. When your announcement is ready, then
contact the
List Administrator.

How do I send an attachment?
The TeradataForum does not support the direct distribution of attachments. Instead, attachments are placed in the
Attachment section of the TeradataForum website. To have an attachment placed on the webiste, please send it to the
List Administrator.

I've stopped receiving mail from the TeradataForum.
Your membership to the TeradataForum may have been deleted because your mail is bouncing with errors. More commonly,
you may not be receiving posts because your employer is filtering your mail. Unfortunately, given the way things work in the
Internet world, you may or may not be notified of your removal. If you should find yourself removed, please don't hesitate to
Join
again.
If you have been removed by the List Administrator, you will receive a note outlining the reason for your removal. If
removed for violating the
Rules of Conduct, then your removal is permanent.
If your employer is blocking TeradataForum mail, you may have to use another e-mail provider to contact us.

How to quit the TeradataForum.
You can quit the TeradataForum by sending a note to the
List Administrator.
